DBS&A Carbon Management Market Leader and Principal Geologist, Eryn Torres, PG; Principal Environmental Scientist Gregory Schnaar, PhD, PG; Geochemist Chris Wolf, PG; and Engineer Gabe Iltis, PhD, PE, will be at the Carbon Capture Technology Expo taking place in Houston, Texas, on June 26 to 27, 2024. DBS&A is exhibiting in space #1146, next to LI-COR Environmental, manufacturer of the eddy covariance system that DBS&A uses to monitor changes in atmospheric conditions at our carbon capture and storage (CCS) project sites.
DBS&A will sponsor and exhibit at the 31st annual Texas Groundwater Conference of the American Ground Water Trust (AGWT). The event is scheduled for June 11 to 12, 2024, in Austin.
Dr. Stephens is applying his specialized technical expertise in vadose zone hydrology and numerical modeling of groundwater contamination as part of an Independent Technical Review of Los Alamos National Laboratory Chromium Interim Measures and Plume Characterization. The ITR will evaluate interim measures to prevent migration of the hexavalent chromium plume beyond the LANL boundary, obtain required data and conduct Corrective Measures Evaluation.
